On Monday, 14th September at 14:00 CEST, Guido Juckeland from Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) will join us at the HiRSE Seminar Series to talk about “EVERSE: A suite of tools and services to measure and improve software quality”

Abstract:

As research software becomes increasingly recognized as a first-class scientific output, ensuring its quality, sustainability, and reusability remains a critical challenge across disciplines. The EVERSE (European Virtual Institute for Research Software Excellence) project aims to drive a cultural shift by establishing a collaborative, community-driven framework for research software quality. This presentation introduces the EVERSE tool ecosystem, designed to share knowledge, practically assess and enhance their research software.

We will showcase a suite of integrated, open-source services developed to bridge the gap between quality theory and technical implementation:
